Review: Park Avenue - Beer Shampoo
I had once tried the famed flat beer hair rinse and while I did feel a certain softness in my hair, it did nothing more for me. When I became aware of this new product and it was finally available on stands, I decided to give beer a second chance. So when I received it as part of a generous Christmas gift, you can imagine my excitement. Since I do not stick to any single shampoo for my daily usage, the beer shampoo had become part of my shower line-up, which I began to use every week or so. After more than a month of usage, here are the results.

The orange-tinted shampoo of 200ml comes in a transparent plastic bottle which is in the shape of a beer bottle. The fragrance of the shampoo is slightly sour. Don't miss the soda bottle inspired cap *plus points for creativity!* which fixes on tightly to the bottle.
Rs. 160/-
- My scalp tends to be on the greasy side so the shampoo does do a great job getting rid of the excess oils.
- It added a softness and a slight gloss to my hair.
- The plastic packaging and the small size makes it easy to carry for travelling purposes.
- The shampoo has a sour smell, much like that of beer which can tend to be unpleasant. However, the sour smell disappears after washing and you will not get any trace of it.
- For people with a dryer scalp, it might prove to be excessively drying, especially on the ends of your hair.
7/10
It would make the perfect gift for a male because of the flavour and innovativeness of the packaging. I will happily continue to use mine till it ends but I don't think I would repurchase it as apart from the novelty factor of the shampoo, it didn't make any great difference to my hair.
Happy weekend dolls.
