My fickle friend, the summer wind

There is nothing I love quite as much as lazy sunday afternoons, rounds of chilled cocktails, great company, late nights turning into early mornings, long conversations without any purpose and of course, a bright and happy sense of personal style.
By now, everyone and their mother knows that the achromatic look is one of this summer's next big things. Commonly known as the black and white trend, the word 'Achromatic' *which basically means the loss of colour or colourless* is essentially shades of black and white. I learned so much about it in my ad design class last year and back then I had no clue that it would translate itself on my blog too! If you've been a follower here long enough, you would know how eternal my love is for black and white *evidence here*

So while the achromatic trend reaches heights this sultry summer, I knew I had to give it a shot with my own personal spin on it.

Sheer white blouse with peter pan collar - Vero Moda via local boutique (Bandra), Faux leather leggings - Ginger via Lifestyle, Crochet sling bag - Vintage, Beaded flats - Flea market (Goa), Glitter hairband - Local store (Bandra), Rhinestone cuff - Street stall (Colaba), On my lips - Maybelline 'Coral Pink', On my eyes - Lakme Eyeconic kajal, On my nails - China Glaze 'Thataway'

The only solution to dealing with the heat is to wear light colours in breathable fabrics which makes this trend will work great for the summer. Don't forget to add a pop of colour to liven things up! And a gust of summer breeze will add just perfectly to the look.
