Bring on the rain
So dolls, when we previously spoke about me loathing the monsoon, the reason behind it is simple - it plays havoc with my hair, does a number on my skin and affects my mood as well *specially when it ruins plans!* But other than skulking around in your house for 4 months and becoming a hermit, there is nothing else you can really do except face the season head on and dress appropriately for the weather.

My sure-fire way to put my best foot forward this season is avoiding denim and cotton, using waterproof makeup, sticking to smaller items of clothing *which are easier to stay dry in* and of course, sticking to monsoon appropriate fabrics and accessories in faux leather, polyester and PVC. Make sure your shoes are skid-free and tough like mine which I've owned for the past 3 monsoons and are absolutely adorable. Throwing in a fun prints like my personal favorite - polka dots doesn't hurt as well.
The whole look; complete with the bows, the high waist shorts and the winged liner sure does look like I'm channeling my inner Ms. Hepburn and well, elegance and minimalist clothing only make the monsoons better.
