Style File Turns 3

Although I've been hash-tagging Style File Turns 3 for the round of anniversary contests on the blog for the past 2 weeks; today when Style File actually does turn 3, it all seems a little surreal. It all began 3 years ago when I was at an introspective point. As I was finding my foothold in a new place in my life and finding myself along with it, Style File was born out of that. I had not even the slightest clue as to how I would write a blog, shoot and create for it; I just did it. And today, I can barely believe the way it has grown before my very eyes.

Of course, it hasn't always been smooth sailing. There's always the case of writer's block, fatiguing shooting and mismatched styling that happens sometimes. But hey, that's a part and parcel of the job. At the end of it all, I think that all the good and the bad as well, have all been worth it.

To the wonderful bunch of family and friends around me, thanks for the love. A shout-out and massive bear hug to Leo, my amazing boyfriend and blog partner who makes such stunning visual content possible on Style File. To the amazing brands I have had the chance to collaborate with, thank you being a part of Style File's journey. And to my fantastic Style Filers - to each and every reader, especially those who take their time out to email, message and tweet to me - It means so much to me because that is what makes blogging all worth it.
