In the army.

Just like there are two sides to a coin, everyone has a couple of sides to them too. One day, I'm flouncing around in a pretty dress, all sweet and docile; the next, I'm wearing a military vest that brings out the 'no-nonsense' side of me. And that is an amazing thing, because being sweet for too long, well - it is boring! It is so empowering to have a side of myself that is responsible, firm and doesn't really care about the rest of the world. That's the part of me that toughens me up for absolutely anything to come my way.

Apart from that, it has been a crazy month and till the end of it, I'm running around like crazy, *trying to* cleanly finish assignments and such. September, end quicker please.

So this was the vest that brings out my other side and I cannot blame it! This olive washed denim beauty, with the shiny rivets and zips; it has every reason to for its rugged charm. With the Military inspired trend being one of Fall 2012's hottest, I'm glad I own this baby. Along with the feminine lace on the pockets and the black top, it makes for the perfect contrast. Through in comfy sneaks, fitted jeans and neon green nail varnish and I'm all set for Autumn!
