Forbidden fruit

So lovelies, you probably know of the internal torture that strikes when you want something that you cannot have - those shoes that are just too pricey even on sale or the tantalising smell of Mom's pie when you're trying to get fit. Currently, it's the monsoon season that is the torturous factor for me. I've never been too much of a fan of the season, so I prefer staying indoors when it pours. And when I have to leave the house, there's the long list of stuff I need to avoid like leather and whites.

This look is a fancier take on the usual jeans and t-shirt ensemble and while we've got a good 2 months left of the monsoons, this can't help but seem like forbidden fruit with all the summery light and clothes which were taken when the sun was still shining, something I am currently aching for.
