At the darkest hour

The past couple of months have been nothing short of a whirlwind. After a crazy August with a couple of great events as well as Lakme Fashion Week, I felt like I owed it to myself to just take a breather during the past month, lay low and recoup. Today, it's the start of October and I feel relaxed and raring to go. It's the start of my favorite season; of cardigans, hot chocolate and cuddling. No wonder I'm so ecstatic. 

 My outfit today leans towards the season ahead of us. It was a happy coincidence actually but turned out to be the perfect choice.

Dark florals are one of this winter's hot trends and were even a main element of Shift's show at Lakme Fashion Week. Peplum isn't going anywhere and both of these trends coming together in my dress make for a pleasant combination. My makeup was on the darker side with a periwinkle blue winged eye, nude lip and french braided bun. With this look flagging off the season, I'm looking forward to getting more experimental with my clothes and having some fun with my makeup as well.
