Hot spots

Lets talk about how weird it is to see rain in October. How fast the year seems to have flown by. How I always happen to choose pink for a pedicure. How it is sunny in the morning and thundering mid-afternoon. How I'm excited for the fall months to come. How much I enjoy blogging. How I'm craving lemonade these hot, sultry days.

When it comes to an outfit post on Style File, I know it usually starts and ends with the outfit I'm wearing. I want to break away from that. Of course I'm passionate about outfits and trends, but it feels nice to just break from that and chatter about the weather and what-not. After all, it isn't just about style but food, travel, work, gossip and so much more.

For a sunny afternoon of pampering at the Taj Salon, I experimented with polka dots and my stunner of a neon bag. Since I was looking forward to an afternoon of relaxation, I kept the rest of the look simple with ballet flats, red lips, studded cuff and high ponytail. Outfits like these are made for sunny sunday afternoons which I absolutely love.
