Personal Style | Ebony and Ivory

As you probably know from my inane chattering, my blog Style File turned 3 recently and to celebrate the big day, Pizza Express, the authentic Italian chain of restaurants, hosted a celebration that combined some of my favorite things - food and fashion. Since I'll be covering the event completely in my next post; let's focus on the fashion part of things that night. To stay consistent with the restaurant's theme, black and white was the chosen dress code for the evening. Now I've spoken about my eternal love for the achromatic colours before so I was gung-ho about it right from the start.

We arrived early so before the crowd began to trickle in, we shot my look for the night.

The greatest pleasure I got from hosting the event was being able to go as dramatic as I pleased which made my inner drama queen extremely happy! I paired the sexy black smokey eye, my focal point of my look with a pinch of red on my lips and messy beach waves. Together, they complimented my lovely layered dress and sparkly accessories exceptionally for an awesome night to come!
