The weather currently feels like a teenagers confused state of mind. On those angst-y, rebellious days, it shines bright and hot, burning into every fibre of my being. And a few hours later, a cold vibe takes over, bringing everything to a frozen standstill till you can fetch a cardigan. Days like these are when I take a note out of Macklemore's lookbook, he who affirms how incredible he looks in his grandad's coat.
Because, when you've got gleaming fields of gold to play in, under a bright sun with slightly confused weather; there is no joy like donning a treasured vintage piece while Thrift Shop plays in your head.

Winter white makes me swoon, right from the time I very first tried it. I offset it with complimentary camel and tan tones in a mix of textures and added a few accessories like that delicious micro messenger bag and a charm necklace I've made over the years by stringing on knick-knacks I've gotten attached to for a pendant. The obvious showstopper, however, are my shoes. Like I had told you, at the Vans DIY station at Myntra Fashion Weekend last season, I started with a blank canvas of white slip-ons. From there on, I freehand sketched and painted a design and its reverse on the other shoe.
Who would have thought that Macklemore himself could be a style inspiration. After all, that coat does look incredible.

You are absolutely stunning.
I know what you mean about the weather. In the last 3 weeks I have experienced some seriously bipolar temperatures. In NYC there was once a windchill of -30F (yes, NEGATIVE), and then when I got back home to CA, it was in the 80s...until three days later when we woke up to a frost. Hahaha

I love your cardigan, it looks so thick and warm, and your sneakers are so cute!

Thank you so much, Amber. I can only imagine how much more severe your winters must be! Yeah, the weather is a little crazy now as well but it's slowly settling into spring here :)
